TEACHING ITALIAN GELATO

A first analysis, with results over our expectation

13 ottobre 2010

When we started to organize and propose our courses in Thailand, our intention was to teach at future Gelato operators, whose looking for new business opportunities, or at professionals, whose looking to improve their knowledge in Ice Cream business.

And of course we reached our goal. Several attendants came to learn, and most of them, after the course launched their own new business in the field, or just improved their current job.

While developing our program to promote our job, participating since some years ago at IFHS or FHT, THAIFEX, COFFEE AND TEA and lately TRAFS, all famous exhibitions in Thailand, we got the occasion to meet and know other operators in the field sharing talking, experience and some time also promotional acts together.

What has been unexpected, is the fact that some renowned Thai ice cream teachers or operators, thanks to our action, decided to improve themselves as well. This is the greater evidence of how important is our job related to teaching and, more generally, the importance to spread and exchange knowledge.

Is the case, for example, of K. Paula, also known as Miss IceCream, www.Icecreamfanclub.com. or the case of K. Nimnicha, of N2Ice. We’ve got the nice pleasure to share time and experience together both of them, during last Thaifex’10 in Bangkok. Both of them manifested their interest into LucaMari courses, as one more occasion to learn more about Italian Gelato.

Moreover, is the case of K. Poo, IceAge, a Thai producer of IceCream who attended our course last year, improving the quality of her production and right now she’s also proposing her own courses as well.

We look at those facts as something amazing, because they all, with their own company, participate together us to increase the diffusion of Italian Gelato in Thailand, that’s the final main goal of LucaMari Co Ltd.

Luckily, we also got the interest by Achan Yama, a very well known, renown, pleasant, kind Thai lady, teacher of bakery and pastries, one real lover of her job. I tested by my own about her passion for teaching, transferring to others her knowledge. We know each other since some years ago, but no occasion to join our experience together until now. Today we are very pleased and proud to announce the beginning of our co-operation together, sharing our common experience, in order to propose our courses more detailed, better organized and especially, in Thai language as well, together and thanks Achan Yama. Many thanks for her precious support.

So finally, what it seemed a stronger competition between different companies in the beginning, for us in the reality represents one kind of common help, a join of efforts, for a faster and deeper diffusion of Italian Gelato and Ice Cream in Thailand.

Never mind the choice of the entrepreneurs, professionals, whoever interested to attend courses, which will be the company, the teacher, the course of their choice. More courses available, means higher occasion to attend it, thanks to different timing, location, language, topics, teacher and experience of course.

Anyway, whatever will be, it will be the choice to learn more about our amazing sweet cold dessert, Gelato (IceCream Italian Style).
